GAIBANDHA: Police arrested 11 activists of BNP and its key ally Jamaat-e-Islami from different places in seven upazilas of Gaibandha district.

The drives were conducted between Sunday night and Monday morning.

Gaibandha additional police super (B-circle) Faruk Hossian told banglanews that the arrestees are accused in several cases filed for sabotage and violence during hartal-blocakde.

Of the arrestees, four are activists of BNP while six are Jamaat-e-Islami activists and another is Chhatra Shibir activist.
