DHAKA: Outgoing India high commissioner Pankaj Saran met BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan political office in city Thursday evening.

The India envoy reached the BNP chair’s office around 6:50pm and left the place around 7:45pm.

He did not talk to the media after the meeting.

However, Saran joined India high commission in 2012. He has been appointed as ambassador to Russia.

Harsh Vardhan Shringla will replace Saran in Dhaka.
