DHAKA: BNP standing committee member Dr RA Gani was buried at Banani graveyard in city on Friday afternoon.

He was buried around 4:15pm after the third janaza at south plaza of Jatiya Sangsad.

Earlier, the BNP leader died at intensive care unit (ICU) of Square Hospital in city around 12:30am at the age of 89.

Earlier, he had been kept on life support since Wednesday after his condition deteriorated.

On January 6, RA Gani was admitted to the hospital in city's Panthapath area as he fell sick and complained of respiratory problems.
