DHAKA: Police detained two activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir, student front of Jamaat-e-Islami, with 55 cocktails from a house in city’s Mirpur area on Tuesday afternoon (February 23).

Police also seized jihadist books from the arrestees’ possession.

The detainees have been identified as Shafiq (22) and Rahim (20). They are students of Dhaka College.

Mirpur Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Shafiqur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
