‘Mass killing in the name of movement unacceptable’

MEHERPUR: Advisory council member of the ruling Awami League (AL) Amir Hossain Amu categorically said his party does not consider any political movement as threat to it.

He also said the party also thinks mass killing by BNP in the name of waging political movements in 2015 was unacceptable.

Amu, also industries minister, was responding to journalists before addressing a program organized to commemorate the historic Mujibnagar Dibos (Day) on Sunday (April 17) in Meherpur.

He said, “Whenever BNP talks about staging movements, not only AL but also the countrymen witness horrid picture of killing people”.
