KUSHTIA: A leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) was killed after a train hit him at Babar Ali level crossing in district town on Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Meer Mosharraf Hossain Kishor, 27, organizing secretary of district BCL.

Poradaho Railway Thana OC Sunil Kumar confirmed the matter to banglanews.

District BCL president Ali Mortaza Khasru said, “Train hit Kishor when he was crossing the rail crossing, leaving him critically injured.”

He as rushed to Kushtia General Hospital, where doctor declared him dead, he added.
