DHAKA: A city court on Monday (May 2) re-fixed the date of submission of report in a case filed against four BNP leaders, including its chairperson Khaleda Zia, on charge of killing 42 during countrywide indefinite hartal and blockade earlier in 2015.
This is the 10th time the report submission date rescheduled.
The court of Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Mazharul Islam rescheduled the date to July 11.
Three other BNP leaders are chairperson’s adviser Professor Dr Emajuddin Ahmed, vice-chairman Shamser Mobin Chowdhury and standing committee member Rafiqul Islam Mia.
The court rescheduled the date as Gulshan Police Station OC (investigation) did not submit the investigation on the day.
The case was filed by Jananetri Parishad president AB Siddiqui on February 2 in 2015.
