LAKSHMIPUR: At least 15 people were injured in a clash between supporters of two candidates during voting in Tumchar union Parishad (UP) under Sadar Upazila in the district. 

The clashes occurred at a polling center of Tumchar Madrasa Government primary school on Saturday (May 7). 

Lakshmipur Assistant Police Super (ASP) Md. Nasim Mia informed banglanews that police has brought everything under control and injured were sent to Sadar Hospital while three were detained from the spot.
