DHAKA: BNP on Monday (May 17) alleged that the government drafted a drama about party’s joint secretary general Aslam Chowdhury to hide the reserve heist incident.
Party senior joint secretary general Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed raised the allegation in a press briefing at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office in city around 11:15am.
The press meet was held following news spread about a clandestine meeting between Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and Aslam Chowdhury to overthrow incumbent government.
The BNP spokesman also said the government has reached on the verge of collapse and this is why it is trying to create issues to stop it.
Rizvi also said that Israeli person is a businessman and he was invited by India. “What is the problem in talking to him openly?” he asked.
He further said no one is talking now when BNP is providing counter logic to all allegations.
