10 AL chairman candidates suspended

JAMALPUR: Dewanganj upazila Awami League (AL) has suspended 10 chairman candidates on allegation of participating in polls without party’s decision and violating party discipline.

The decision was taken in an urgent meeting of Awami League on Tuesday night (May 17).

Dewanganj Upazila Awami League president Ishtiaq Hossain Didar and general secretary Abul Kalam Azad disclosed this matter in a press brief.
