DHAKA: BNP joint secretary general Aslam Chowdhury was sued for sedition following his alleged meeting with Israeli spy over anti-government plot.
The case was filed with Gulshan Thana in the capital on Thursday (May 26) afternoon.
Earlier, Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Haque said, police have found proper evidences against Aslam Chowdhury on his sedition charge.
Meanwhile, Aslam is now in jail after the end of two-phase remand.
However, the BNP leader was arrested from city on allegation of his meeting with a Mossad agent recently.
