JAMALPUR: Two men were shot dead during a clash between two groups centering Union Parishad (UP) polls in Dewanganj upazila of the district on Saturday (May 28).

The deceased are not identified yet. This clash took place at Khutichar government Primary School polling center. 

Dewanganj Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Abdul Hannan told that the clash occurred between Awami League and rival group over occupying polling center, leaving two dead on the spot and few injured.
