DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has distributed foods among the destitute on Monday (May 30) on occasion of 35th death anniversary of Ziaur Rahman.

She started distributing foods at 12:00pm in city’s Maniik Mia Avenue after paying tribute to Zia Mazar at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.

She distributed foods among about 200 destitute people.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, standing committee member Mirza Abbas, its vice-chairman Selima Rahman, joint secretary general Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal and others were present at the event.
