Banshkhali MP Mostafizur sued

CHITTAGONG: Election Commission on Friday (June 3) noon filed a case against Banshkhali lawmaker Mostafizur Rahman for assaulting an upazila election officer.

Banshkhali Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Alamgir Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.

On June 1, the local lawmaker physically assaulted election officer Jahidul Islam for not following Mostafizur’s order and not to appointing his supporters as polling agents.
