DHAKA: Police submitted chargesheets against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia among 78 people in three cases filed for creating sabotages.

Darus Salam Thana sub-inspector (SI) Raihanuzzaman submitted the chargesheets to the Dhaka CMM court on Monday (June 6).

Other accused included BNP leader Amanullah Aman, BNP joint secretary general and also Swechhasebok Dal president Habib Un Nabi Sohel, Khaleda Zia’s press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan Sohel and BNP leader Sultan Salahuddin Tuku.

The cases have been filed for vandalize and torching buses in several areas of the thana in February, 2015 during the hartal and blockade enforced by BNP and its alliance.

Earlier on May 29, 51 people including the BNP chairperson were chargesheeted in other two cases.
