BARISAL: Police arrested three activists of Chhatra Shibir during distributing anti-government leaflets at Kaunia area of the city on Tuesday (June 7).

The arrestees were identified as Mizanur Rahman (22), Imran Hossain (20) and Mushfiqur Rahman (21).

Barisal Metropolitan Detective Branch (DB) Police Senior Assistant Police Abu Sayed told banglanews that the arrestees were held conducting drive acting on tip-off. In the meantime some books were seized along with the anti-government leaflets from their possession.

They were charged in cases at several police stations including Barisal Metropolitan Airport Thana, he added.
