DHAKA: The by-polls of Mymensingh-1 (Haluaghat-Dhobaura) and Mymensingh-3 (Gouripur) constituencies will be held on July 18.

These seats become vacant as former state minister for social welfare Promode Mankin who was the MP of Mymensingh- 1 constituency died on May 11 and the MP of Mymensingh- 3 Dr Mujibur Rahman Fakir died on May 2.

According the schedule declared by EC, the last date for submitting nomination paper has been fixed till June 20 and the candidates can withdraw their paper till June 29.

There are 3,28,510 voters in Mymensingh-1 constituency and 2,04,530 in Mymensingh-2 constituency, the EC added.
