4 Jamaat men among 27 held in Jhenaidah

JHENAIDAH: Four Jamaat-e-Islami members among 27 were detained from different areas under Maheshpur upazila of the district early Friday (June 10).

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Jhenaidah additional superintendent of police (SP) Azbahar Ali Sheikh said Maheshpur Thana police teams conducted the drives and detained them.

The special drives will be continued to prevent terrorism, he added.
