Jessore unit Jamaat leader arrested

JESSORE: Police arrested Jessore’s Manirampur upazila unit Jamaat-i-Islami ameer Liaquat Ali (40) on early Monday (June 27).

Liaquat, son of late Bareq Moral and an assistant teacher of Biprakona Dakhil Madrasa, was arrested from Amrajhuta village of the upazila.

Manirampur Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Biplab Kumar Nath told banglanews that the arrestee is accused in several cases.
