RANGPUR: Police arrested 65 people including three Jamaat-e-Islami leaders, in separate drives, in eight upazilas of the district early Friday (July 29).

Police said that the arrestees are charged in sabotage, theft-robbery and other cases.

Rangpur senior assistant superintendent of police (ASP, B Circle) Saifur Rahman told banglanews that they arrestees have arrest warrants against them.

They have been sent to the jail by the court this morning, he added.
