SATKHIRA: Police arrested 45 people including nine Jamaat-Shibir men from eight upazilas of the district.

The arrestees were nabbed after conducting drives from Tuesday night to Wednesday (August 3) morning. 

Satkhira District Police information officer Sub-Inspector (SI) Kamal Hossain told banglanews that among the arrestees there were nine Jamaat-Shibir activists who were accused of sabotage case and 36 people accused in regular cases.

They were sent to the jail by the court this morning, SI added.
