DHAKA: International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) fixed September 28 for the deposition against four accused from Noakhali’s Sudhapur area for their crimes against humanity during the country’s liberation war in 1971.

The accused are Amir Ahmed alias Amir Ali, Abdul Kuddus, M Joynal Abdin and fugitive Abul Kalam.

The three-member tribunal led by Justice Anwarul Haque passed the order on Sunday (August 7).

Prosecutor Sabina Yasmin Munni moved for the state while advocate M Masud Rana for the accused.

However, the tribunal formed charges against the four on June 20 for mass killing, torture and arson.
