DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia is set to address an emergency press conference on Wednesday afternoon (August 24).

The BNP chief’s media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed this to banglanews on Thursday night.

The conference will be held at chairperson’s Gulshan political office at 4:30pm, he added.

Competent sources from BNP said that Khaleda Zia might talk about the Rampal Power Plant alongside country’s ensuing condition, national unity and party matters.

Shairul Kabir Khan also said senior leaders of BNP will attend the conference.
