RANGPUR: Police arrested 50 people including three activists of Jammat-e-Islami from eight upazilas of the districts in over night drives on early Thursday (September 8).

Rangpur Additional Police Super (ASP) Abdullah Al Faruq told Banglanews that the arrestees were charge-sheeted in several cases and there were also arrest warrants against them.

They have been sent to jail through the court, the ASP said.
