DHAKA: Ruling Bangladesh Awami League (AL) is set to accord a grand reception on September 26 to its chief and also Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on her arrival in Dhaka from New York.

The reception program will take place around 4.00pm from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to Ganabhaban.

AL general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam told this to media Tuesday afternoon (September 20) at city’s Dhanmondi party president’s political office.

They will arrange the reception following the premier’s speech in United Nations General Assembly.

Party workers will take position on both sides of the road as part of the program.

Later, AL will arrange a separate reception program to greet Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Affairs adviser to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and also her son Sajeeb Wazed Joy for achieving the prestigious ‘ICT for Development Award’ at Millennium Hotel in New York.
