DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia returned Bangladesh from Saudi Arabia on Thursday (September 22) after performing hajj.

A flight of Emirates Airlines carrying the BNP leader arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in city around 5:00pm.

Police and Khaleda Zia’s personal Chairperson’s Security Force (CSF) guarded her convoy. Party leaders and activists welcomed their chief in the airport and on the way to her residence.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, standing committee members Mirza Abbas and Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and vice-chairman Abdullah Al Noman, among others, were present at the airport.
