RANGPUR: Police arrested two charge-sheeted leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami of  Rangpur metropolitan and Sadar upazilla units of the district early Sunday (September 25).

The arrestees are metropolitan unit Jamaat ameer Nur Hossain 61, hailing from Kamarpara area and Sadar upazila unit ameer Lokman Hossain 58 of Babukha area.

District police super (SP) Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter to Banglanews adding that the arrestees are accused of violence and sabotage cases.

They were sent to jail through court in the morning, the SP added.
