BARISAL: The Union Parishad (UP) repoll in 44 centers in five districts of Barisal will be held on Monday (October 31).

District and divisional election officers have completed all the arrangements of voting.

Regional election commission sources said the Election Commission (EC) postponed the votes in 45 centers following several complains during the elections from 1st stage to 6th stage.

However, election in Harta center is not necessary as the candidate has won uncontested.

Moreover, by-election in Sadar upazila of Bhola district will be held as the Bhelu Mia UP chairman died.
