COX’S BAZAR: Communications Minister Obaidul Quader on Sunday said BNP is secretly taking preparation for the next general elections.

“Whatever BNP says in speech, in fact it is preparing for next elections in secret. BNP can’t get advantages staging movement,” he said.

The ruling Awami League lawmaker came up with the observation while addressing a programme after laying foundation stone of 12 bridges on Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf highway.

The minister also said Chittagong-Teknaf highway would be developed in four lanes by the association of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
