DHAKA: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the judiciary again went to the clutches of the administration and could not be kept independent.
The BNP senior leader made this remark in an introduction program of nationalist panel of 25 representatives of registered graduates of the Dhaka University Senate held at the National Press Club auditorium on Tuesday (December 12).
Mirza Fakhrul said, “Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha wanted to make judiciary free. For this reason, he was forced to resign. Whenever we try to make a move or go to protest then cases are lodged against us."
