DHAKA: Mohammad Ebadul Karim, the ruling Awami League member of parliament from Brahmanbaria-5 (Nabinagar), tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19).

Ebadul Karim is the member of the Permanent Parliamentary Committee of Information Ministry Affairs and the owner of Beacon Pharmaceuticals.

Anisur Rahman Khan Gias, Vice President (HR, Finance and Accounts) of Beacon Pharmaceuticals confirmed the matter to Banglanews. 

He said that two days before Eid, Ebadul Karim tested positive for coronavirus. But now he is improving. He is currently undergoing treatment at his Gulshan home in the capital. 

“He is fine physically and mentally. Please pray for him,” Anisur Rahman said.
