Habiganj-3 MP Abu Jahir, who was infected with Covid-19, has been airlifted to Dhaka for better treatment.

A helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) brought the district Awami League president to Dhaka on Wednesday morning.

Sudwip Das, personal assistant of the MP, confirmed the matter.

Later, he was admitted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital.

MP Jahir tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday.
