Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is set to “captain” Narail-2 constituency once again as the former international cricketer has secured a win in the seat.
He bagged 1,11,157 votes, while his nearest rival Hafizur Rahman secured 1,919 votes on Sunday’s 12th national polls.
The number of voters in the constituency is 365,729. Of them, 183,739 voters are female and 181,990 are male.
Besides, Awami League candidate for Magura-1 constituency all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has won the electoral race by bagging 185,388 votes.
His nearest rival Kazi Rezaul Hossain secured 45,993 votes.
The total number of centres in this constituency is 152.
Balloting in the 12th national polls in Bangladesh held on Sunday (January 7).
