DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the opening ceremony of T-20 World Cup at Bangabandhu National Stadium in the capital at 6:35pm Thursday.  

Artistes from home and abroad are performing at the stadium emblazoned with a festive look and enormous surprising preparations and world famous.

A concert is being held featuring, Runa Laila and Sabina Yasmin, Akon, Sunidhi Chauhan, Indian music maestro AR Rahman, Udit Narayan and other local artistes in the opening ceremony.

Bangladesh is hosting the international cricket tournament for very first time.

The decoration workers and personnel of Bangladesh Army were seen restless from last few days as they were busy in doing decoration, renovation and modification of venues and other necessary actions.

The World T-20 World Cup is set to be held in Bangladesh from March 16 to April 6 where 10 nations are participating in the tournament.
