Carlos Alcaraz claimed his second Queen’s Club title on Sunday with a hard-fought victory over Czech Jiri Lehecka in a gripping three-set final.

The world number two overcame a strong challenge from Lehecka to win 7-5, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2 and secure the 21st ATP title of his career.

Alcaraz, who was tested throughout by the in-form Lehecka—one of just five players to beat him this season—showed resilience and quality on the grass courts of West London to extend his unbeaten run to 18 matches.

Lehecka, who reached the final after defeating British number one Jack Draper in the semi-finals, initially struggled to match Alcaraz’s pace and precision in the opening set. However, the Czech raised his level in the second, forcing a tie-break which he won with an ace after bouncing back from being lobbed on a deft drop shot.

But Alcaraz responded with composure, breaking early in the third set and dominating the decider to close out the match and lift the trophy once more.

It marks Alcaraz’s fifth title of 2025 and sends him into Wimbledon—where he will chase a third straight crown—with strong momentum.

“I’m happy to lift this trophy once again,” Alcaraz said after the win. “It has been an incredible week. I came without expectations and just wanted to play good tennis and get used to the grass.”

“It’s really special playing here every year and I can’t wait to come back next year.”
