DHAKA: Sri Lanka beat South Africa by 5 runs in the Super 10 phase of the ICC World T20 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Saturday.        
   
Proteas scored 160 runs for eight in response to 165 runs scored by Sri Lanka for seven wickets.     

S Africa’s JP Duminy scored the highest 39 runs.     

Sri Lanka’s SMSM Senanayake bagged two wickets.                 

Earlier Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. Opener Kusal Perera was announced player of the match for his outstanding 61-run off 40 balls.                                                

Imran Tahir took three-wicket while Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel took two-wicket each.
