DHAKA: Federation International of Football Association announced its official Theme Song for the FIFA World Cup-2014.

"We Are One (Ole Ola)" – titled this song has been sung in both English and Spanish where Rapper Pitbull, Cláudia Leitte and Jennifer Lopez teamed up for the official song of the World Cup which will be held in Brazil.

The chorus of the song says: "Put your flags up in the sky, wave them from side-to-side, show the world where you`re from, show the world we are one."

FIFA said this song is made as a symbol of peace and unity.

Singers will perform the song at the FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony on June 12 at the Arena de Sao Paulo, before the inaugurating match between Brazil and Croatia.

Also it will be featured on the "One Love, One Rhythm: The Official 2014 FIFA World Cup Album," which will be released in May 13.

Official World Cup songs date back to at least 1962, when "El Rock del Mundial" was performed by The Ramblers.

At the last World Cup, the official song was "Waka Waka" by Shakira.
