Scotland struggling to chase 304

DHAKA: Scotland lost six wickets to score 131 in 30 over while chasing England set 304-run target in 14th match of ICC Cricket World Cup at Hagley Park in Christchurch on Monday.

Earlier, Moeen Ali’s century (128) helped the English to score 303-runs for eight in 50 overs.

Scottish bowler Josh Davey bagged four wickets while     I Wardlaw JH Davey, AC Evans, RM Haq and Berrington picked up one wicket each.

Earlier, Scotland won the toss and chose to bowl.

England, who lost both their opening games heavily and currently have the worst net run-rate in either group, retained faith with the same XI. That included Steven Finn, who conceded 49 from his two overs in Wellington, and Gary Ballance, who has looked out of touch since his return to the side.
