DHAKA:  Tigers are chasing the lions-set 333-run target in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Pool A match at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday

Sri Lanka scored a responsible 332 for one in stipulated 50 overs with a pair of tons by Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara coupled with Lahiru Thirimanne’s opening fifty.

Thirimanne opened Sri Lanka’s innings while Dilshanin began assisting him on another end.

Rubel Hossain stopped Thirimanne, sending him back to the pavilion. Thirimanne scored 52 runs off 78 balls.

At the beginning of the match, Thirimanne got a life as Anamul Haque dropped an easy catch at first slip when Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza began the bowling of the innings.

As Thirimanne went back Kumar Sangakkara began accompanying Dilshanin since then. Bangladesh saw no more successes as the pair – Sangakkara and Dilshanin - finished the innings unbeaten.

Dilshan scored 161 runs off 146 balls with 22 boundaries while Sangakkara contributed 105 runs off 76 balls with 13 fours.

Earlier Sri Lanka captain Angela Mathews won the toss and decided to bat first. The match kicked off at 9:30am Bangladesh Time.

Bangladesh are unchanged from their win against Afghanistan. Sri Lanka made a change.  Dinesh Chandimal comes in for Jeevan Mendis
