Pak pacer Rahat ruled out of test series Rahat Ali

DHAKA: Pakistan’s left arm fast bowler Rahat Ali was ruled out of the upcoming Test Series against Bangladesh with his hamstring injury.

"Rahat Ali out of test series against Bangladesh due to hamstring injury. Replacement, if any, will be announced in due course,” Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Twitter on Saturday.

The 26-year seamer joined batsman Sohaib Maqsood, two other fast bowlers Sohail Khan and Ehsan Adil and leg-spinner Yasir Shah, who have all been out of the game in courtesy of injuries.

Rahat Ali will miss both games of the two-match test series. However, it is unclear whether PCB will send any other player in replacing Rahat or not.

The first test will start at Khulna from 28 April, followed by the second match in Dhaka from May 6.

Meantime, Bangladesh whitewashed Pakistan in three-mach One Day International ser series 3-0, afterward a seven-wicket win in the only Twenty20 international on Friday.
