DHAKA: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is set to confirm all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan’s entry for their Thursday’s IPL clash against Mumbai Indians (MI).

KKR is scheduled to face MI at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai at 8pm (Bangladesh Time).

The No 1 ranked all-rounder across formats joined KKR squad on Monday. If Shakib will be included in the playing eleven that will mean Johan Botha may have to make way.

If Shakib’s inclusion continues he will play KKR’s another match against Rajasthan Royals as well as the crucial knockout phase of the multi-million dollar T20 tournament.



Shakib played the first two matches of KKR and left for the country to play against Pakistan. He performed decently in the three-match ODI series and scored a match winning half-century in the on-off T20 International (T20I). Bangladesh created history and white washed Pakistan in the all limited overs games.
