FROM BANANI PLAYGROUND: Three members of Bangladesh National Cricket Team, Tamim Iqbal, Taskin Ahmed and Anamul Haque on Sunday evening attended Bangladesh Internet Week at Banani Playground in city to encourage youth in using internet.

The visitors welcomed the Tigers with warm reception.

Taskin said that people of rural areas are getting opportunity to enjoy cricket matches through internet. They are also learning cricket seeing online video clips of the world famous players.

However, Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), Grameenphone and ICT department have arranged the internet week, launched on September 5.

Besides the participation of the cricketers, popular music bands are also performing at the fairground.
