Bangladesh set target 247 for England

DHAKA: England batsmen are chasing the 247-run target set by Bangladesh in the Under-19 World Cup Warm-up Match at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Monday.

Visiting English players have scored 16 runs for four at the end of 8.0 overs in the 50-over match that started at 9:30am. 

England Under-19s require another 227 runs with 6 wickets and 42 overs remaining.

Earlier, junior tigers scored 246 for eight wickets in 50 over.

England bowlers S Mahmood, BJ Taylor and DW Lawrence bagged two wickets each.



Bangladesh Under-19s won the toss and chose to bat.
