DHAKA: The two openers of Bangladesh Under-19s have returned to pavilion when the team score was 27 after 6.1-over against West Indies Under-19s in the second semi-final match of ICC Under-19 World Cup on Thursday (February 11).

Currently, Joyraz Sheik and Nazmul Hossain Shanto are trying to steady the Tigers’ innings. They are on the crease with 23 off 29 balls and 6 off 13-ball.

Bangladesh U-19s reached 53 runs after 11-over at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in city.

This is the first ever semi-final match of Bangladesh in any form of ICC event.

Earlier in the day, Bangladesh U-19 captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz won the toss and decided to bat first in the all important match that began at 9:00am local time.

Tiger cub openers, however, will have to bear with tough early morning conditions.
