DHAKA: The third day’s play of second ‘Bashundhara Bangladesh Open’ golf tournament began at Kurmitola Golf Course in city on Friday morning (February 12).

The event started after Piya Swangarunporn (Thailand), Pasamet Pogamnerd of Thailand, and Misson Griffith of England took their tee shots at the first hole at 8:10am.

Two-time Asian Tour winner Siddikur Rahman of Bangladesh took his tee shot at 8:30am in the $300 000 Bashundhara Bangladesh Open.

On the other hand, Suravid and Kevin (THA) and Sam Kerry (USA) took their tee shots at the tenth hole around 8:10am.

After 10 minutes, another Bangladeshi golfer Mohammad Saimum took tee shot at the tenth hole.

Besides, Jamal Hossain, Mohammad In the only session on the third day of tournament, Abdul Motin and Shakwat Sohel are scheduled to play for Bangladesh.

Earlier on Thursday, Thailand's Thitiphun Chuayprakong fired a five-under-par 66 to take the lead after the second round of the event.
