NARAYANGANJ: BCB Select XI scored 309-run losing nine wickets from their stipulated 50-over against the England XI in the maiden practice match at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah of Narayanganj on Tuesday (October 4).

BCB XI opener Imrul Kayes played a blazing knock. He scored 121-run off 91-ball with the help of 11 4’s and six 6’s.

Besides, Mushfiqur Rahim, captain Nasir Hossain and Nazmul Hossain Shanto took 51, 46 and 36 runs respectively.

Woakes picked up three wickets of BCB XI while DJ Willey and Ben Stokes took two wickets each.

Earlier, BCB Select XI captain Nasir Hossain won the toss and elected to bat first in the match.
