MIRPUR (DHAKA): Bangladesh are batting first against visiting Australia in the 1st test of two-match test series, at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur of Dhaka Sunday (August 27).

Tiger test skipper Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and decided to bat first.

Tamim Iqbal and Somuya Sarkar were sent as opening pairs.

The squads: 

Bangladesh: Mushfiqur Rahim (captain), Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarker, Imrul Kayes, Shakib Al Hasan, Sabbir Rahman, Nasir Hossain, Mehedy Miraz, Taijul Islam, Shafiul Islam and Mustafizur Rahman.

Australia: Steve Smith (captain), David Warner, Matthew Renshaw, Usman Khawaja, Peter Handscomb, Glenn Maxwell, Matthew Wade, Ashton Agar, Pat Cummins, Nathan Lyon and James Pattinson.
