Tigers send Proteas to bat first Mushfiqur Rahim wins the toss against South Africa in first Test

DHAKA: Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bowl against South Africa in the first match of the two-match Test series at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom Thursday (September 28).

The visiting Tigers are facing the host Proteas after long nine years. 

Earlier, Tigers visited South Africa in November, 2008.

It will be a second South Africa tour for Tiger skipper Mushfiqur Rahim, Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes  as they were in the 2008-team too.

Bangladesh squad: Imrul Kayes, Tamim Iqbal, Mominul Haque, Mahmudullah, Mushfiqur Rahim(w/c), Liton Das, Mehedi Hasan Miraz, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Shafiul Islam, Rubel Hossain

South Africa squad: Aiden Markram, Dean Elgar, Hashim Amla, Temba Bavuma, Faf du Plessis(c), Quinton de Kock(w), Andile Phehlukwayo, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, Morne Morkel, Duanne Olivier.
