DHAKA: Bangladesh beat Bhutan by 2-0 goals in their first match of SAFF Championship 2018 at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday (Sep 4).
Defender Tapu Bharman posted the first goal in a penalty kick three minutes after the game started and put Bangladesh in an onward position. The penalty kick was awarded to Bangladesh team by referee following a foul committed by Bhutanese player in their own D-box.
In the second half, forward player Mahbubur Rahman scored another goal that helped red-green jersey holders to leave the field victorious.
