DHAKA: A 2-0 defeat against Nepal at the Bangabandhu National Stadium sends Bangladesh out of the SAFF Championship 2018 on Saturday (Sept 8).

The host, with huge hope to secure its position in semifinals, faced Nepal in the group match of the Suzuki SAFF championship 2018. The match ended for Bangladesh by accepting defeat to Nepal by 2-0 goals. 

It was a frustrating crush for the red-green jersey holders though they showed great enthusiasm and performances in previous matches. 

Earlier on Thursday (Sep 6), Bangladesh beat Pakistan by 1-0 goal in their second group A match.
